More group meditation Messages to continue the tradition of the eight sacred "Feasts". The Messages are from Arapad Romandy (shown below), a Chi Gung Teacher and student of Arnold Keyserling. Arnold and his wife, Wilhelmenia, started this tradition in Vienna, Austria, in the early 1990s, and Arnold wrote these messages until his death in 2005 (see below). We suggest you bookmark both this "New Page" and the Messages page and look for new entries during the eight natually sacred times of the year: the solistice, equinoxes, and times exactly in between. They can help inspire you then, or at any time you open yourself to contact with spirit.

Here is an excerpt from Arpy's latest message:
"Only Dreaming makes us awake. Only through including the Spirits can we create reality. Energy, courage and enthusiasm come to us who trust in them."

A new essay has been added to the curriculum, entitled entitled IN SEARCH OF THE COMMON CODE. It is written by Dago Vlasits. Dago wrote this essay for his presentation on the theme of "Science and Spirituality" at the Co-Planetary Conference in New York City in July 2006. Dago is a leading student of Arnold Keyserling and the Wheel. He resides in Vienna Austria. Dago is an educator, traveller, and deep thinker, especially in the areas of Science, Dimensions, the significance of String Theory, the Hyper-Cube and the Wheel. His native language is German, and this is his first essay in English. We at the School of Wisdom are proud to include this essay as part of our web curriculum.
Here is an excerpt from the Common Code:
Talking about languages or codes is actually talking about thinking. What is the role of thinking and theories when questions about the spiritual life are concerned? Spirituality is a matter of experience, and not so much one of thinking. It's a matter of experiencing - let's say, with the heart - what one realizes as the deepest reality, the one which gives meaning to one's life and is felt as the source of everything and the goal of all human striving for fulfilment.
It's not only our spiritual experiences which have a great impact on our life and the fate of the earth, but also to a high degree our concepts and conceptions, what and how we think about reality. This differs from person to person and from culture to culture, and it differs very much between the scientific and the spiritual cultures.
In order to create a dialogue between the different approaches to reality, do we need a common language? Or do we have to find something common behind all languages and different world views, something beside good will and tolerance? Tolerance and good will are essential; no dialogue is possible without them, only discussion. To satisfy the thinking part in us, we need a common conception which makes it evident that there is only one reality that we are talking about, just as there is only one atmosphere we are breathing. We need to find a common code, a common knowledge, which can serve as a uniting wisdom.

ARNOLD KEYSERLING
1922 - 2005Arnold Keyserling passed away on September 7, 2005 at the age of 83. He is survived by his wife, Wilhelmenia "Willy" Keyserling.
In the words of Arpad Romandy, who spoke at the funeral: "Arnold once said to me that he will be remembered for introducing the category of Friendship into philosophy. In remembering him at the ceremony this was very apparent: he was and is a true herold of the coming age and a true friend. His importance lies in the fact that he based his philosophy on not-knowing, on silence. His philosophy did not start with sentences and meanings, he started from the unknown, from zero. The Wheel is the symbol and also the perfect description of this meta-level of sense (sinn in german) behind the ordinary level of everyday life. Through his work (i.e. through the Wheel) this true reality behind reality became accessible. That's so clear in the lives of so many of his friends. The Wheel is the tool to become human. The tool to tune in into the flow between nothing and something. Through Arnold and the courage he gave us, many many of his friends became something out of nothing. That is true friendship, to acknowledege the different approach to life and creativity of us all, and to have a respectful relation to each other among "firsts". Arnold personified that: for him God was a Friend, not a master, and again the Wheel is the tool by which to become friends with God. I think the importance of all Arnold's philosophy and life will really become clear in the centuries to come."
His many friends and students world-wide will miss him dearly. He was a great man, a big man, in every sense of the word. There will never be another like him.
You can hear Arnold in English by listening to this short excerpt from one of his many workshops at the School of Wisdom in the United States:
